As previously the Spotify music platform had introduced the verification of artist accounts, now also SoundCloud, one of the main music platforms and communities in the world has introduced the possibility of having the channel verified.
Lately, many artists have asked us how we managed to verify our channel and today we decided to write this blog post to give you some tips to make sure that you too can verify your SoundCloud accounts.
Thanks to the verification of the SoundCloud channel you will have the opportunity to have a blue check next to your name and this will give a great sense of authority towards the followers.

SoundCloud announced that it is doing this to help famous artists stand out and maintain their authenticity, and to help listeners identify these artists more easily.
To initiate profile verification on the platform, SoundCloud has already selected eight of the best performing artists today, including Billie Eilish, Wiz Khalifa and Trippie Redd.
If you are a creator who wishes to request verification, your account must meet these requirements:
- Represents a well-known and / or highly sought after artist, collective, DJ, label, curator or podcaster.
- It must be a unique profile. We do not verify fan or impersonator accounts.
- It contains no misleading information and adheres to our terms of use.
- Must have a bio, profile photo and at least one track uploaded.
If you think you are ready to apply for verification then log into SoundCloud.com on your desktop, go to your settings and click the “Request Verification” button.
